Places to visit

Silsden

We are around half a mile from Silsden Town Centre. 

Silsden is vibrant Yorkshire town, the town benefits from many shops, bars, pubs and restaraunts.

Haworth

Situated around 20 minutes drive from the site.

Haworth is a tourist destination known for its association with the Brontë sisters and the preserved heritage Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. It has a large array of tea-rooms, shops, eateries and cosy pubs.

Skipton

Situated around 15-20 minutes drive from the site. Also accessible by the nearby train Steeton/Silsden Train Station.

Skipton Castle is a gem; perhaps the most complete medieval castle in England. Making it the ideal place to shelter from the elements on a rainy day! The canal and the River Aire wind their way through the town. You’ll have ample choice of walks, restaurants and shopping to keep you busy for a whole day.

Ilkley

Situated around 15-20 minutes drive from the site.

The town is famous for its moor and you'll find fantastic countryside and walks for all abilities on your doorstep. The town is also home to one of the largest cycling clubs in the country. Ilkley is the ideal place to relax and treat yourself.

Historical interest

History is a huge part of our surrounding area, we have historical buildings, museums and monuments from all different ages and times. There is plenty to see and all within walk or driving distance.

Very locally we have Skipton Castle, Salts Mill and the Bronte Parsonage Museum.
